Fourth DLC for Teardown: what is known and what to expect in 2026

Teardown is preparing the final expansion from the Season Pass. Let’s break down everything known about the 4th DLC: release window, possible themes, and what the developers have already hinted at. Tuxedo Labs is approaching the finish line of its Season Pass. Three expansions have already been released, and only one remains — the last and so far the most mysterious. Here is everything currently known about the fourth DLC for Teardown.
What is the Season Pass and how many DLCs have already been released
When the game launched on consoles in November 2023, Tuxedo Labs announced four paid expansions included in the Season Pass. Three of them are already available to play:
- Time Campers — the Wild West, robberies with horses and themed tools
- Folkrace — a racing mode, three tracks, a new vehicle roster, and destructive challenges
- The Greenwash Gambit — space, gravitational anomalies, a Tier-1 robot companion, and 14 missions across four alien maps
Each DLC has taken the game to a completely new setting. This is important when trying to guess what might come next.
What is officially known about the 4th DLC
So far — not much. The Season Pass page on Steam states: “available by the end of 2026.” There is no title, no trailer, and no hints about the theme. Tuxedo Labs traditionally keeps its cards close to the chest until the very last moment — the same happened with The Greenwash Gambit, whose announcement arrived just a month before release. However, something else is definitely coming in 2026: a multiplayer update for consoles and a competitive racing mode in multiplayer. If you have not explored the online mode yet — we have a full multiplayer guide and a selection of the top 10 best multiplayer maps.
What to expect: analyzing the pattern
Each previous expansion followed the same formula: new setting → new mechanics → new tools → a full campaign. Let’s look at themes that have not yet been explored:
- Underwater. Teardown can already simulate water — and the physics there works impressively. An underwater heist with scuba gear and water pressure as a gameplay mechanic sounds like a logical direction.
- Post-apocalypse or cyberpunk. After the Wild West, racing, and space, a ruined city of the future would be a fresh contrast.
- Medieval or fantasy. Destroying castles with catapults sounds very much like Teardown.
- Mega construction / industrial setting. A more grounded option, but with massive destructible structures.
These are only guesses — Tuxedo Labs has already proven it knows how to surprise. While waiting for the announcement, it is a good time to unlock all achievements in the already released campaigns — here is a guide to getting all achievements.
Is it worth buying the Season Pass now
If you do not have the Season Pass yet — now is a good time. Three DLCs are already available immediately after purchase, and the fourth will be included automatically once it releases. If you already own the game but it runs poorly, before diving into new content check our optimization and FPS boost guide. And to expand the game with mods, read the general mod installation guide or the local mod installation guide — if you download files not from Steam Workshop but from our Teardown mod database or other sources.
When to expect the announcement
Judging by the series’ history, the official announcement with a title and trailer usually arrives 4–6 weeks before release. If the expansion launches in fall 2026 — keep an eye on the news closer to summer. Follow updates on Modslab.net — as soon as official information appears, we will break it down first!
