Reference to Meridia's star in Starfield

Bethesda frequently makes references and leaves Easter eggs to their previous games, and Starfield is no exception. It can be said with absolute certainty that the game will contain various references to other games, including the Tes and Fallout series. It is already known that the game will have a reference to one of the most annoying characters of Tes IV Oblivion - the fan who becomes the player's companion after completing the storyline of the arena. References to TES V: Skyrim have not been forgotten either.

User Reasonabledwarf posted a screenshot highlighting the inscription under a strange stone decoration. "Some artist thought no one would notice, but I did: this fantastic exhibit is simply labeled as "SPACE ROCK"." Many fans concluded that this is a reference to the most annoying quest in Skyrim.

Meridia's Star returns in Starfield as a Space Rock

"The Break of Dawn" is an annoying task known to almost all Skyrim players. There are several reasons for this:

  • The item that starts this quest appears randomly in the world. At one moment, Meridia's Star appears in a chest. After picking up the item, Meridia herself starts a conversation with us. Moreover, it is impossible to skip this dialogue, she speaks loudly, sometimes even ignoring the pause menu. Meridia speaks loudly and slowly.
  • The beacon picked up cannot be thrown out of the inventory without visiting the Temple of Meridia. If you decide to postpone the quest - the beacon will lie in the inventory until the moment of passage.

It can be said with confidence that this is not the only Easter egg related to Tes V Skyrim. With the release of the game, it will become clear what other references will be made to the legendary series of games.
