Where the Starfield saves are located

Every progress save in Starfield is recorded on your computer. This is very convenient, for example, if you want to overwrite progress, roll back a save, or completely delete it. However, the path to the save folder may differ depending on your operating system and installation method.
Just a reminder, Starfield will be released on September 6th on Windows and Xbox Series X and Series S platforms.
Saving Starfield Files on Windows OS
By default, on Windows, the saves are located at:
C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Saves
In the Steam Application
If you downloaded Starfield through Steam, follow these instructions:
- Open File Explorer;
- Follow this path: [Steam Install]/userdata/{Steam3AccountID}/1716740/;
- The saves are located in the SaveGames folder.
Important! When making any changes to your progress, copy your old saves to a separate folder so that you can restore them if needed. This way, you'll avoid errors in the game and data loss.
