How to get rid of radiation in Starfield
Radiation is one of the environmental factors that affect the character and hinder exploration on a planet. In this guide, we will explain how to remove the radiation effect and what methods are available in the game for doing so.
Effects of Radiation
One of the planets where you will encounter radiation is Earth. The effect is applied as soon as you spend a certain amount of time on the planet's surface.
The mechanic works as follows: under the influence of radiation, items in your inventory "swell" and increase in weight. Until you get rid of the effect, you will be able to carry much fewer items and resources in your inventory.
How to Remove Radiation
The only way to remove radiation is to use an Injector. The character injects the substance into the body, which helps eliminate various diseases and negative effects, such as cranial trauma, lung damage, poisoning, frostbite, and more.
Where to Find an Injector
You can purchase an Injector at a medical store. If you don't have enough funds, there's an alternative option – you can create the item yourself in a pharmaceutical laboratory.
How to Create and Use an Injector
Head to the laboratory, approach the equipment, and in the item catalog for crafting, select the Injector. To create the item, you will need:
- 1 Metabolic Agent;
- 1 Membrane.
No additional research is required to obtain the recipe.
