The Sims 4 "For Rent!" - the latest released expansion pack for The Sims 4. That means the game has brought in new skills, careers, life goals, character traits, and fears. Cheat Codes for the "For Rent!" Expansion Pack

For convenience, the cheat codes will be divided into categories. 

Expanding Apartments on the Lot 

The main gameplay addition is the ability to rent out and lease real estate, much more thoughtfully than in the "City Living" expansion pack, where players could only move into apartments and pay weekly rent. The problem with the "For Rent!" expansion pack is that the number of apartments that can be built on one lot is limited. The following cheats remove this gameplay restriction. Note that a large number of apartments may affect performance. 

• bb.increaserentalunitcap on - increase from 6 to 99;
• bb.increaserentalunitcap off - disable the increase function.

Career

A new part-time career has been added - Handyperson Career with 3 promotion levels. Sims can become universal home repairmen and solve other characters' problems with appliances and furniture. However, to begin with, you need to at least learn how to hammer a nail...

• careers.add_career Handyperson - give the character a career (to avoid applying through phone/PC);
• careers.promote Handyperson - promote to the next level;
• careers.demote Handyperson - demote to the previous level. 

Character Traits 

Cheat codes for character traits from the character creation editor:

• traits.equip_trait trait_ChildoftheVillage - Child of the Village;
• traits.equip_trait trait_Cringe - Cringey;
• traits.equip_trait trait_Generous - Generous;
• traits.equip_trait trait_Nosy - Nosy;
• traits.equip_trait trait_Wise - Wise;

Cheat codes for completing life goals:

• traits.equip_trait trait_MultiUnit_Aspiration_DiscerningDweller - Neighborly;
• traits.equip_trait trait_MultiUnit_Aspiration_FountainOfLocalKnowledge - Tomarang Expert;
• traits.equip_trait trait_MultiUnit_Aspiration_LegendaryLandlord - Legendary Landlord;
• traits.equip_trait trait_MultiUnit_Aspiration_SeekerOfSecrets - Pry if the Tiger. 

Cheat codes for other bonus traits:

• traits.equip_trait trait_Handyperson_GoldenWrench - Golden Wrench;
• traits.equip_trait trait_MultiUnitGuide_KnowledgeableLeaser - Knowledgeable Leaser;
• traits.equip_trait trait_Snooping_SafeKeeper - Safe Keeper;
• traits.equip_trait trait_Snooping_Menace - Snooping Menace for attempting extortion after breaking into someone else's apartment.

Fears and Death

Logically, a character who moves into new housing and for some reason conflicts with the landlord begins to fear eviction. A new fear was added along with death by mold. Yes, that can happen if you forget what cleaning is all about.  

• traits.equip_trait trait_Ghost_Mold - turns the sim into a green ghost who died from mold and coughs spores on other characters;
• traits.equip_trait trait_Fear_Eviction - adds the fear.

How to Use Cheat Codes in The Sims 4

Using cheat codes in The Sims 4 is very simple:

1. Go to The Sims 4 and start playing with a family;
2. Open the command line by simultaneously pressing Ctrl + C+ Shift;
3. In the appearing line, enter the code. Do not add extra spaces and characters, otherwise, the code will be inactive;
4. Press Enter to activate.

If for some reason the code is inactive, a notification will appear in the line stating that such a command does not exist. If everything is fine, nothing will happen - the line will be cleared, and the cheat will be active.
