"Horse Ranch" - one of the latest and most anticipated additions, released for The Sims 4 in July 2023. Players finally have the opportunity to get a new pet - a horse, master the skill of horseback riding and manage their own ranch. Along with the expansion, new cheat codes for The Sims 4 "Horse Ranch" were released. You can find the current list in our article. 

Skills

With the expansion, two new skills were added: Ranch Nectar Making and Horseback Riding (Equestrian). The maximum skill level for Ranch Nectar Making is 5. 

• Horseback Riding: stats.set_skill_level AdultMajor_EquestrianSkill [skill level];
• Nectar Making: stats.set_skill_level AdultMinor_RanchNectar [skill level].

Equestrian Skills 

Not only sims but also horses are endowed with abilities. A character can work with their pet, training its discipline, agility, and strength to achieve better results in competitions. 

To level up your horse's skills via cheat codes, first, you need to find its ID. For this:

1. Open the console with Ctrl+Shift+C;
2. Enter: sims.get_sim_id_by_name [Pet's first and last name together];
3. Copy the digits after the line: "has sim id" - this will be its ID. 

Without exiting the console, type the following commands depending on the needed skill:

• Temperament: stats.set_skill_level Horse_Temperament [skill level] + ID;
• Agility: stats.set_skill_level Horse_Agility [skill level] + ID;
• Jumping: stats.set_skill_level Horse_Jumping [skill level] + ID;
• Endurance: stats.set_skill_level Horse_Endurance [skill level] + ID.

In [skill level] type the required number. Enter 10 if you want to fully master the skill. 

Character Traits

The expansion added 4 new character traits, two of which can be set in the character creation editor, and the others can be obtained by completing respective life goals.

• Master Trainer: traits.equip_trait trait_MasterTrainer;
• Nectar Know It All: traits.equip_trait trait_NectarKnowItAll;
• Horse Love: traits.equip_trait trait_HorseLove;
• Rancher: traits.equip_trait trait_Rancher.

Careers

With "Horse Ranch," no new careers were added for playable sims, but new roles for NPCs emerged: Horse Trainer, Ranch Hand, and Mysterious Ranch Owner. If you enjoy managing the town and assigning roles to characters at your discretion, then use additional cheat codes:

• Horse Trainer: careers.add_career career_Adult_EP14World_NPC_HorseTrainer;
• Mysterious Ranch Owner: careers.add_career career_Adult_EP14World_NPC_MysteriousRancher;
• Ranch Hand: careers.add_career career_Adult_NPC_RanchHand.
