The Mark 1 Set - one of the best sets in Starfield. One of the sets can be found right at the "Constellation" base. However, obtaining the equipment won't be that simple, as you'll need a "Master" level of hacking to crack the case. In this guide, we'll explore where to find the Mark 1 set right at the beginning of the game and how to acquire it through alternative means.

Where to Find the Mark 1 Case in Starfield

Progress through the game and reach New Atlantis, joining the ranks of the "Constellation." At the base, immediately turn right from the entrance (left of Vasco, as shown in the screenshot). 

Under the stairs, you'll see a door; enter it.

Descend the stairs and turn left into the corridor.

Go down the corridor to the end and turn right.

Enter the room with the white sofa.

In this room, in the corner, you'll find a locked case with the Mark 1 set. 

How to Unlock the Case and Obtain Mark 1 Early in the Game

To unlock the safe, you'll need a "Master" level of hacking. Obtaining this skill at the beginning of the game is problematic, so you'll need to find alternative ways.

You can simply get the required skill using cheat codes or open it through the console using the unlock command, but we won't be doing that. Follow the instructions to get Mark 1 without using cheats:

1. Approach the locked case closely;
2. Switch to stealth mode;
3. Try to find a small gap through which you can interact specifically with the mannequin, not the case (as shown in the screenshot).

Through the small gap, you can interact with the mannequin and collect all the equipment. This clever method allows you to obtain one of the best sets in Starfield right at the beginning of the game.
