Shortly before the events in the game, they suffered a defeat in the war with the United Colonies, which affected the general state of their capital. Akila is a confederation of colonists from all known star systems. The city is located far from the main transport routes, amidst the mountainous terrain of an independent planet. People of all kinds live here, who respect adventurers.

The city is protected by an outer perimeter of walls, designed to protect against hostile alien creatures. Residents of this city suffer most from Ashtas - aggressive monsters, which externally resemble velociraptors and wolves.

Neon

Another major city in Starfield, under the control of a local faction called Xenofresh. It's located on a water planet that was previously not considered particularly suitable for life. However, everything changed after the leadership of Xenofresh began to use one of the local species of fish to produce a powerful drug called "Aurora". After this, Neon became a city of entertainment and opportunities, albeit not always legal ones.

Neon is one of the youngest, yet at the same time, large cities in Starfield. Its advanced capabilities are comparable to New Atlantis.
