September 6 marked the official release of Starfield - the new game project from Bethesda Game Studios. Previously, the company developed some of the entries in the The Elder Scrolls series: Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and Blades. It's no surprise that players have already found the first references to the series. 

ARROW IN THE KNEE

Throughout the storyline, players will encounter an NPC colonist who will share his story. He used to be an explorer, but had to end his career for an unspoken reason - because of an arrow in the knee. 

The colonist's story refers to a similar tale in Skyrim's storyline, where NPC guards share a story about how an arrow in the knee ended their friend's life. The easter egg spread to the game skill called "Crippling" - the icon displays that same arrow.

ADORING FAN

Adoring Fan - a character that players immediately noticed. We've already mentioned this hero before, who joins your crew after choosing the trait "Admired Hero".  A similar character could be found in Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. The fan will constantly follow you, annoy you, but will also bring useful resources and help manage affairs at the base.
