Bunker Spider in Lethal Company: How to Defeat the Monster

13 jan 2024 at 15:27

Bunker Spider in Lethal Company is a monster of medium danger, resembling a regular spider but much larger. It is encountered inside the complex, weaving webs in corridors and passages to ensnare careless employees. It attacks if you try to escape or destroy its web. While not lethally dangerous, it can still cause damage and create problems if you don't know how to deal with it.

What Makes the Bunker Spider Dangerous

The Bunker Spider doesn't bother employees when simply moving around the complex. However, if you accidentally get caught in its web, be prepared – the monster will be right next to you. The most unpleasant thing that can happen to you after being killed by the spider's legs is finding a comrade's corpse wrapped in a web. Due to this, you won't be able to return the body to the spaceship on your own. The only way is to use the teleporter, but even on board, the body cannot be moved. You'll have to wait for liftoff.

How to Defeat the Bunker Spider

Dealing with the Bunker Spider is quite straightforward. You should be aware of some of its features:

  • The spider moves slowly. Simply stepping away from the creature is enough – it won't be able to catch you as long as you keep moving;
  • The creature is quite persistent and will follow the employee for a long time. Again, it's easy to get away from it, but don't expect it to disappear quickly from view;
  • Damage dealt – 90 HP;
  • It takes 5 shovel hits to kill it;
  • The best way to kill the Bunker Spider: slowly move away from the monster, facing it, and deliver shovel hits;
  • After the update 45, the Bunker Spider can reach and attack players trying to climb the railings. Now the monster ignores the barrier.

Use a flashlight and carefully check the corners to avoid getting caught in the Bunker Spider's web. If you fall into the trap, your movement speed will significantly decrease, making it harder to escape from the creature. Stunning it is unnecessary as the movement speed is already too low.
