Hitman 3: How to Get the Secret Ending

22 jan 2021 at 11:59

Like many games, Hitman 3 doesn't have an amazing secret ending. In this guide, we'll tell you how to unlock the secret ending in Hitman 3 and obtain the Count Down From 47 trophy. Let's go!

Please note that this article will contain spoilers. If you don't want to see the ending before reaching it yourself, simply save the page and come back to it after completing the game.

Unlocking the Secret Ending in Hitman 3

The final level of Hitman 3 takes place on a train called "Providence," which moves exclusively through Romania. Your ultimate target is the Constant, but before reaching him, you need to deal with several mercenaries of the company.

This level is considered the most challenging in the entire game (if you eliminate all enemies). Whether you decide to eliminate all targets or not, you will still eventually reach the Constant, who surprisingly accepts his death with dignity. There will be a serum in a briefcase; take it and listen to the man's speech.

This serum is the substance that erased the hero's memories once before.

The idea is that you should use this syringe to kill Edwards. But in reality, you can use it on yourself. When Edwards leaves, hold the needle in your hand for 47 seconds. Eventually, Edwards will ask if you've changed your mind. Press the indicated button, and you will inject the serum into yourself and fall asleep.

Thus, you will unlock the secret ending of Hitman 3, which will be relevant to those who completed Agent 47 back in 2000. You will also receive the special Count Down From 47 achievement.

By injecting yourself, Agent 47 will start losing consciousness, and everything around will fade. You will wake up in a room that feels painfully familiar. You will be presented with a scene where the Constant delivers a opening speech for the first part of Hitman:

"Wake up, my friend. It's the dawn of a new day, and you have things to do."
- Wake up my friend. It's the dawn of a new day and you have things to do.

That's an unexpected twist...
