The expansion for The Sims 4 "Life Path" (Growing Together) was released on platforms on March 16, 2023, and immediately won the love of players. Interactions between generations have become deeper and more thoughtful, family stories and the lives of Sims - vivid and rich. A new life stage was also added - "Infant" with 18 character traits, the town of San Sequoia, life milestones, goals, and family dynamics mechanics. Cheat codes for The Sims 4 "Life Path" will help you accelerate the process of mastering skills, life goals, and more. In this material, we have collected a complete list of current console commands.
Infant character traits
All cheat codes for the "Life Path" expansion are related to the development of babies/infants and family development. Each infant has a unique set of character traits. To set it, enter in the console: traits.equip_trait trait_Infant_, and then specify the name of the trait:
- Intense - Impressionable;
- Wiggly - Fidgety;
- Sunny - Ray of Sunshine;
- Cautious - Cautious;
- Sensitive - Sensitive;
- Calm - Calm.
For example, what the command to assign the character trait "Ray of Sunshine" would look like: traits.equip_trait trait_Infant_Sunny.
To add a special infant character trait, write the command traits.equip_trait trait_Infant_Element_ and again enter the name:

Infant life milestones
Life Milestones (Milestone) - akin to memories from The Sims 2. The character experiences important life moments and seals them in memory. Children's life milestones are associated with the first steps, words, guests, walks, delicious food, etc. Command: developmental_milestones.unlock_milestone infantMilestones_, at the end - the name of the milestone.

Midlife crisis
Midlife Crisis replicates a similar mechanic from The Sims 3. When a character transitions from Young Adult stage to Adult, they begin to reevaluate their lived life and face moral problems. The player's task: to satisfy the character's desires to get through the tough period. Or just use cheat codes. Enter the command aspirations.complete_aspiration midlifeCrisis_Active_ and choose one of the crisis resolution options:
- DesireforSuccess - Desire for success;
- DesiretoCreate - Desire to create;
- DesireforAdventure - Desire for adventure;
- DesireforRelationship - Desire for new relationships.
Family dynamics
Family Dynamics create more realistic relationships between characters. Family members can adore each other or, conversely, hate each other. Relationships can be close, distant, difficult, joking, etc. To set the dynamics between two characters, you need to know their ID. To do this, activate the console with Ctrl+C+Shift and enter the code: sims.get_sim_id_by_name [Character's first and last name].
The full code will consist of three parts: 1) command: relationship.add_bit; 2) ID of 1 character + ID of 2 character (space in between); 3) familyTrope_ + the name of the family dynamic.
All family dynamic options:
- Difficult - Difficult relationships;
- Distant - Estrangement;
- Okesters - Jokers;
- Close - Close relationships;
- Loving_authority - Support for an older character;
- Loving_subordinate - Support for a younger character;
- Permissive_authority - Leniency for an older character;
- Permissive_subordinate - Leniency for a younger character;
- Compliant_authority - Strictness for an older character;
- Compliant_subordinate - Strictness for a younger character.
Example: relationship.add_bit [ID 1] [ID 2] familyTrope_Close.
How to use cheat codes in The Sims 4
To use cheat codes, just activate the console with Ctrl+C+Shift, enter the command, and confirm the action with Enter. If the code is activated, the line will disappear. Otherwise, an error message will appear.
