Horn – an upgrade for the spaceship and an item you can use to distract enemies. In this guide, you will learn where to get and how to use the manual and stationary horns.

How to Get and Use a Horn in Lethal Company

In the game, there are two types of horns: loud and air. The loud horn is a spaceship upgrade that you can buy on the spacecraft at the terminal. To do this:

1. Interact with the terminal and type "store";
2. Go to the Ship Upgrades section;
3. To find the loud horn, enter the name "loud horn";
4. The cost of the item is 150 credits.

You don't need to wait for the delivery of the loud horn – it will automatically appear on the spacecraft. You can use the horn if you want to drive away monsters, allowing your team members to easily bring loot on board the spacecraft.

To use the loud horn, approach the spaceship and pull the rope by pressing the E key. After that, a loud sound will be heard, attracting not only team members but also monsters, so be careful. The sound can be used to locate the ship or give players a warning signal, the meaning of which you can determine together with the team.

Air (Air horn), which is a manual horn, can only be found in locations. To precisely locate it, use a flashlight during exploration to illuminate dark corners.

The air horn works on the same principle as the loud one: take the item in your hands, activate it, and a loud sound will be heard. We do not recommend trying to do this near the team – the noise will also attract nearby monsters.

If you see that a mob is approaching the squad or, for example, a player who doesn't see the danger, move to the adjacent room and activate the horn. After that, the monster will change its target and move towards the noise. Try to move away quickly and plan escape routes in advance to avoid getting stuck.

If you don't plan to use the horn, keep it in your inventory, and later sell it at the terminal. You can get at least a few dozen credits for selling it.
