How to Start the Waking From the Great Dream Quest

The mission will appear in the quest journal automatically after the previous quest – "Savior’s Wake" (Savior’s Wake). The third act will begin immediately. 

Waking From the Great Dream: Walkthrough

The main thing you'll need to do during this quest is to defeat the Narzissenkreuz Boss. In this guide, you'll learn about the monster's characteristics and how to defeat it. 

Enter the Whirlpool

After leaving the tower in the previous quest, approach the cliff and jump into the whirlpool. It will take you to the Primordial Sea and its fearsome creature – the Narzissenkreuz Boss. 

Move Forward

Upon reaching the new location, you'll hear the distant voice of the monster. Move forward until Narzissenkreuz appears in front of you. After a short dialogue, the creature will attack you. 

Defeat Narzissenkreuz

The boss fight has the peculiar aspect that you can only fight as the Traveler with Hydro power. Therefore, squad composition is not a concern. Character level is 80, default weapon – Sword of Narzissenkreuz.

Boss battle tactics:

• Since you don't have healers or shield characters, try to dodge the monster's attacks as much as possible. It's better to stay closer – at a distance, it delivers powerful blows capable of removing a significant portion of your health;
• As in other boss battles, you can't pause the fight. The only way to stop and heal is to open the Inventory and use food;
• In the first stage of the battle, you cannot damage the boss. Simply evade attacks and wait for the next phase to begin;

• In the second phase, the water level will rise, allowing the Traveler to swim;
• Jump into the whirlpool to avoid blade attacks;

• At the end of the path, the boss will be vulnerable to attacks. Use charged attacks to deplete the boss's HP. Repeat this action several times until the monster is defeated. When it's time to strike, an on-screen prompt will appear.

Once you reduce the boss's health to zero, a cutscene with companion dialogue will begin, and the quest will be completed. The next quest, "Rowboat's Wake," will start automatically.

For defeating the boss, you'll also receive the achievement: "The Immortal Emperor of the Mortal Cosmos."
