What to do on the 1st day in Valheim

The first thing you need to do is gather some wood and stone to craft essential tools. Wood can be collected from branches on the ground or by chopping down plants and bushes, while stones can be found on the ground. 

Build a Workbench and protect it from the weather. With its help, you can repair broken tools and weapons for free, so try to build this item as soon as possible!

Learn about game resources

In Valheim, everything works like in real life - to craft a specific item, you first need to find the necessary materials and tools. For example, you can mine various ores: flint, silver, iron, tin, and much more. 

Some resources, like Bronze, cannot be found on their own - you'll have to make them. To create Bronze, find tin and copper, and then smelt them together. There are plenty of similar examples in the game, so take note and study the materials you find. 

The same goes for gathering food: learn to tame wild animals, build beehives, catch fish, brew mead, and much more to prevent yourself from starving.

• In addition to the limited number of inventory slots in the game, there is also a weight limit of 300 units. If you exceed this threshold, your stamina will no longer regenerate.
