Valheim: How to Delete Junk and Remove Unwanted Items
So, if you can't figure out the old equipment in Valheim, how do you get rid of unwanted items? You can just leave it on the ground or somewhere in a box, but then it will just take up unnecessary space. Littering is bad, even if it's in a non-existent game world.
Unfortunately, there is no specific "destroy/delete item" function for items, but there are ways that will help you get rid of unwanted junk from Valheim forever. Let's go!
How to Delete Junk in Valheim
When you just leave an item on the ground, it will stay there even after you leave. To make items disappear from your world completely, you just have to throw them into the water. Be it a big lake or an ocean - any items that fall into large bodies of water will instantly disappear and (presumably) be destroyed.
If you have old gear and you're 100% sure you don't need it anymore - just row a boat on the water and start dumping unwanted stuff. Technically, the junk almost evaporates.
