In Valheim, there is a huge variety of food aimed at restoring your hero's vital stats. However, there are nuances to consider - it's crucial to choose and combine food correctly depending on your goals.

For example, if you're going to fight a boss, you'll need a lot of health, or conversely, if you're exploring a new area, you'll need maximum stamina. In this guide, we'll show you the best food combinations for health and stamina restoration in Valheim. Let's go!

In the game, you can fill 3 slots with different food items, after which your character will become satiated.
Starter Food Set: Blueberries, Raspberries, and Mushrooms

This combination is the most accessible for beginners. In the early stages, hunting for meat and other resources can be somewhat challenging, while gathering berries and mushrooms is relatively easy. You can find them in meadows and the Black Forest.

Although this set is not the top-tier in Valheim, it can be quite helpful at the beginning:

  • Blueberries: 15 health, 20 stamina for 600 seconds.
  • Mushrooms: 15 health, 20 stamina for 600 seconds.
  • Raspberries: 10 health, 20 stamina for 600 seconds.
Blueberries, Boiled Meat, Grilled Neck Tail

This set will be useful for hunting enthusiasts. Believe me, there's plenty of wildlife in Valheim. You can choose prey that's easier or more challenging, whether it's boars or deer - it all depends on your weapons and skills.

  • Blueberries: 15 health, 20 stamina for 600 seconds.
  • Boiled Meat: 45 health, 30 stamina for 1200 seconds.
  • Grilled Neck Tail: 35 health, 20 stamina for 1000 seconds.
Honey, Carrot, and Yellow Mushrooms

You can find Yellow Mushrooms in burial chambers.

This combination will provide you with the following stats:

  • Carrot: 15 health, 15 stamina for 600 seconds.
  • Honey: 20 health, 20 stamina for 300 seconds.
  • Yellow Mushrooms: 20 health, 20 stamina for 600 seconds.
Raspberry Jam, Carrot Soup, and Turnip Stew

To create Raspberry Jam, combine blueberries, raspberries, and honey. You can use it together with carrot soup and turnip stew. Soups are much better than raw food, so we strongly recommend making them using a cauldron.
