How to become a wizard in The Sims 4

Recently, in The Sims 4 "Realm of Magic," a new type of occult character became available - the Spellcaster. Becoming a Spellcaster in The Sims 4 is quite simple - you just need to familiarize yourself with the available transformation methods and choose the one that suits you.

Method 1

A quick and convenient option is to create a Spellcaster in CAS. Open the character creation mode, then select the "Add Occult Sim" menu and click on the "Add Spellcaster" icon. Spellcasters have only one appearance available, without presets or other "features." However, according to the developers, in the future, "special eyes" may be added for this character.

Method 2

Talk to a Sage from the Magical Realm. Go to the Magical Realm through the main portal, then find one of the three Sages, click on them, and select the "How to Cast Spells" option. The Sage will give your character the "Temporary Vision Gift," which lasts for 8 hours. This gift allows you to see and collect floating magical orbs (the Sage will ask you to find 7 of them for further actions).

Magical orbs are a special form of ancient magic, the energy of which the Sages can control and redirect into any regular Sim, turning them into a Spellcaster.
Once you have collected all 7 orbs, take them to the Sage and click on the "Give Orbs" option. After that, your Sim will become a full-fledged Spellcaster. Please note that this method only works on regular Sims and is not available for other occult characters.

Method 3

Be born into a Spellcaster family. All you need to do is find a Spellcaster Sim (male or female) and have a child with them! In this case, the offspring will inherit one of the following traits: Pure Bloodline, Ancient Bloodline, or Fading Bloodline. When your Sim grows up, they will have a unique ability to undergo training without the Ascension ritual, and, by the way, they will learn much faster than any non-lineage Spellcaster. Look for a partner with a high level of spellcasting.

Ancient Bloodline - children of wizards from the most distant, 4th generation. Such Sims receive a bonus talent point for each spellcasting level and accumulate earned experience faster than a regular Sim. The probability of overcharged magic is reduced by 50%.

Pure Bloodline - children from families where, in addition to the parents, the grandparents also have magical blood. The bonuses are the same, but the probability of accumulating overcharged magic is reduced to 20%.

Fading Bloodline - Sims who have at least one spellcaster parent. The probability of accumulating overcharged magic is reduced to 10%.
