Werewolves - supernatural creatures that were added to The Sims 4 with the eponymous expansion. Now your Sims can become powerful, agile, and dangerous creatures that worship the Moon and live in packs in the town of Moonwood Mill. You will decide whether to become a devout pack member or a reclusive lone wolf that terrifies the locals. In any case, you first need to become a werewolf, so let's discuss how to do this.

Create in CAS

The simplest way to make a Sim a werewolf is to use the character editor. To do this, create a new family, click on the plus icon on the bottom panel, then choose "Create Occult Character", and select the werewolf icon.

Two forms of the Sim will appear on the panel - human and wolf. In the first, the character will spend most of their time. In the second, their hidden power manifests - incredible physical abilities, animal rage, and speed.

Note that you cannot change the race of an already created character. For example, if you created a regular human in the editor, chose their appearance, traits, and style, but then remembered you wanted to make them a supernatural being, you can't change the race. You have to create a werewolf from scratch. This is a common mistake among players who played The Sims 3 and were used to being able to change a character's race at any time.

Get Bitten by a Werewolf

An ordinary Sim can also become a werewolf, but they need to receive a werewolf bite. This feature works similarly to a vampire bite, after which the character gradually turns into a werewolf. You need to ask any werewolf with whom you have a trusting relationship for a bite. It is advisable to be at least friends with the werewolf-Sim, otherwise they will refuse.

After the bite, the Sim begins a difficult and even painful period, which lasts until the full transformation. The character will experience various moodlets that describe the stages of transformation and their condition:

• Werebie. The character feels irritable and slightly ill;
• Advanced Werebie. The condition worsens. Thoughts about how to get rid of this state begin to appear. Are you sure you want this?
• Insatiable Hunger. The final stage. If you do not feed the Sim on time, and you need to do so often, there is a risk that they will die. Stock up on provisions and wait it out.
  

The transformation process will take about 1.5 game days. After that, an animation of the transformation will appear, and the character's need bar will be replaced with werewolf needs.

By the way, you can also accidentally get bitten, encountering NPC - aggressive werewolf Greg, who lives on the outskirts of Moonwood Mill. You can provoke Greg by starting to study a sign near the river and choosing the action: "Explore Growl". The appearance of the werewolf is imminent, and avoiding the attack is impossible.

Another option is to contract lycanthropy during an exploration of the Moonwood Mill dungeons. The stages of transformation are similar to those of a bite, you just get the "disease" in another way.

Give Birth to a Werewolf

The likelihood that a baby will be born a werewolf if one of their parents is a werewolf and the other is a human is 50%. If both parents are werewolves, the likelihood is 100%.
