The early release of Starfield for premium edition owners took place on September 1st. Other users will have to wait for the official release on September 6th. Right now, small mods are available for download to all players, although they don't significantly affect gameplay, they are still useful.

Gamma Tweaks

This mod slightly adjusts the game's color palette, making it more vibrant and realistic. There are 5 options to choose from, each of which can be previewed in the archive. Install only one option to avoid errors in the game.

Undelayed Launching

This mod automatically skips the game's initial splash screen. It's convenient if you want to save time and not press extra buttons to skip it each time.

Starfield Upscaler - Replacing FSR2 with DLSS or XeSS

This mod replaces the FSR2 system with DLSS/XeSS. For it to work correctly, you'll need the Upscaler Base plugin, which you can also download from our website.

Performance BOOST

If your computer struggles to run Starfield, but you still want to play and experience the gameplay on lower settings, try the Performance BOOST mod. It optimizes Starfield without sacrificing graphics quality and rendering speed. This should result in a 5-15% average frame rate increase, making the game more comfortable and enjoyable to play.

Smooth Ship Reticle

This mod removes the frame rate limit for the spacefaring ship's reticle in Starfield. The default frame rate of 30 FPS will increase to 120 FPS.

This mod changes the field of view for the main character. You can choose from several options, ranging from 70 to 130. Install only one file.

On our website, you can find similar mods for Starfield that also change the field of view and perspective for both first-person and third-person views.

Killable Essential NPCs

Usually, NPCs and companions are invulnerable characters, and you can't harm them, not even with a direct shot to the head. This mod removes that limitation and allows you to kill any character in the game. NPCs are no longer invincible.

Nude Mod - NSFW - Naked Starfield Wanderers

This 18+ mod makes all characters in the game completely nude. On one hand, it might not be very convenient, but you can try it out a couple of times.

  • Unlimited health, shields, and ship enhancements;
  • Arbitrary amount of credits;

60 FPS - Smooth UI

Similar to the Smooth Ship Reticle mod, this one adjusts the frame rate for the user interface. It may conflict with other mods that change the FPS.

Less Spongy Enemies

This mod makes combat with enemies less forgiving and reduces the amount of damage enemies can absorb.

Important! Using some mods may prevent you from earning achievements. This can be inconvenient if you want to complete the game 100% and collect all achievements.

It is expected that Creation Kit 2 will be released after the Starfield release on September 6th. Only after that, mod authors will be able to create larger and more comprehensive mods for the game.

This article will be updated as new mods are released.
