How to install the mod for Skyrim SE-AE
Installing mods for Skyrim Special Edition is quite easy. There are some automated installers that further simplify the mod installation process, but the manual method is also fairly straightforward and suitable for most modifications, not only for this game but also for most Bethesda Softworks games. Here's the manual installation process:
Download the mod from Modslab.net. Most mods are typically provided in an archive format. Open the downloaded archive.
Inside the archive, you will likely find a "Data" folder or directly the .esp and .bsa files, along with other folders.
Move the contents of the archive into the "Data" folder located in the root directory of the game, which is typically found at D: (or your chosen disk where the game is installed):\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition.
If prompted, agree to replace files if necessary.
Launch the game's launcher and navigate to the "Files" section.
Ensure that there is a checkmark next to the mod's name (the name of the .esp file).
That's it! The installation is complete.
Important note: Some mods may have unique installation instructions and are not suitable for manual installation. If a mod has specific installation instructions, it will be mentioned in the description.
