In the second part of the Spider-Man game, bosses hold a special position. Battles with them are the most colorful, dynamic, and diverse. Each enemy is powerful in their own way and memorable to the player. In this guide, you will learn about all the bosses in the game and how to best battle them.

Bosses in Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Throughout the game, you will encounter a total of 9 bosses. Each one has its own characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses. Let's take a closer look at each of them.

Sandman

The first boss in the game appears at the very beginning during the "Surface Tension" mission. The battle with Sandman is reminiscent of fights against giant enemies in the God of War game. The enemy is truly colossal, towering above New York skyscrapers. You'll have to fight him with both Spider-Men. Follow this strategy:

• Dodge all of Sandman's attacks, as well as flying debris from buildings, water barrels, and other objects.
• Beware of the minions summoned by the boss. It's better to defeat them immediately, as their sheer number can deal serious damage to your health and simply disrupt the battle with the main enemy.
• Avoid tornadoes and whirlwinds that appear towards the end of the battle. Move away from them.

Lizard

Mister Negative

A familiar boss from the first game, Mister Negative or Martin Li is an enemy of Miles Morales. He appears during the "No Escape" storyline mission. Follow these tactics:

• Use jumps and evasions to avoid the enemy's horizontal and vertical attacks. He will send forward waves that cannot be blocked.
• Avoid the black tornadoes summoned by the boss during the battle. They deal significant damage if you come into contact with them.
• The final battle takes place in a black-and-white world, where the hero must chase the boss. Avoid all obstacles on the way and, in the end, use the web swing ability.

Kraven the Hunter

Featured in the game's trailer, Kraven the Hunter is the fourth boss of the game and appears in the missions "Anything Can Be Broken" and "Don't Be Scared." After the first victory, the boss will disappear temporarily. The general battle tactic against Kraven is as follows:

• Dodge the smoke bombs and electromagnetic pulse grenades used by the boss. Kraven will use a sniper rifle during the battle, which deals significant damage. Evade his shots.
• To inflict damage and disorient the enemy, use environmental objects. Throw them at the boss.
• In one phase of the battle, robot hunters will come to his aid. Deal with them immediately before they surround the hero. Their pulse attacks can temporarily block the use of abilities.
• In the final phase of the battle, use Spider-sense. The enemy will use camouflage and become almost invisible.

Peter Parker in the Symbiote Suit

In the storyline mission "Anything Can Be Broken," Peter Parker is infected by the symbiote. Morales must save his friend and prevent the suit from completely taking over. The battle tactic is as follows:

Scream

Mysterio
