Signal Translator In Lethal Company: how to get and use
Signal Translator (Signal Translator) – a new upgrade for the spacecraft, added in version 45. This device allows you to transmit signals to other players without the risk of being detected by monsters. It operates on the principle of a radio but with some differences.
Read on to learn what a signal translator is, why it's needed, and how to use it correctly.
How to Get a Signal Translator
You can purchase the translator at the terminal for 255 credits. Here's how:
- Interact with the terminal and type "store";
- Type the upgrade name: "signal translator";
- Confirm the purchase by entering: "confirm".
There is no need to wait for the delivery of the upgrade – the device automatically appears on board the spacecraft and is ready for use immediately after purchase.
How to Use the Signal Translator
Before using the translator, you need to activate it. To do this, interact with the terminal again and enter the command "transmit". The player on the spacecraft using the translator can enter any word or phrase, which will appear on the screens of the other team members after confirmation.
Before the message appears on the screen, the message "Receiving Signal" will be displayed.
When using the translator, consider the following points:
- The longer the message, the longer it will take to reach other players. Try to use no more than 1-2 words in combination with numbers;
- Pre-arrange with other team players key phrases signaling problems and danger. For example, "1 dead" - player number one is dead;
- There is a character limit – no more than 10;
- Unlike radio signals, messages from the translator are not audible to monsters and do not attract their attention. Feel free to use the device in the open world and in dark corridors.
The signal translator is a convenient and practical tool that you need to get used to. You can easily transmit important messages and additionally coordinate the team left outside the spacecraft.
