Laser Pointer in Lethal Company: how to get and use

Laser Pointer (Laser) – an item in Lethal Company that you can find while exploring locations. Not all players know what the pointer is for and why to use it. In fact, the item has several useful practical applications, which you will learn from this guide.

How to Get a Laser Pointer

The only way to get a laser pointer is to find it in the game. The pointer is not sold in the terminal for credits. However, you can sell it. The convenience of the item is that it does not take up space in the inventory and does not burden the player with extra weight.

How to Use the Laser Pointer

The pointer emits a laser beam that is useful for the following purposes:

  • Measure distances to the floor if you want to make a jump, and the light from the flashlight is not enough;
  • To inform other team members about your location;
  • Understand the length of the corridor and the presence of obstacles nearby, again, if there is no flashlight at hand or it is discharged;
  • For distracting an approaching monster;
  • For selling purposes.

The selling price will differ and varies from 30 to 100 credits, depending on how long the player uses the item. The longer the pointer stays in the inventory, the higher the price, so you can accumulate the item for potential sale at a higher cost.

Despite the fact that the laser pointer can be used instead of a flashlight for some tasks, it does not replace its functionality and is unable to illuminate the space around. When using the pointer, adhere to the following rules:

  • Do not turn on the laser if you are not sure there are no monsters nearby – the characteristic click when turning it on will attract the attention of enemies;
  • If you direct the beam into a corridor, you may attract the attention of aggressive mobs;
  • You cannot always accurately determine the distance measured by the laser. It is only an approximate indicator that you can rely on.

The main drawback of the pointer is the small battery capacity and the need for constant recharging. It's a pretty useful item but not essential for completing the game. Use it at your discretion.
