All mobs in the Lethal Company

The trending novelty performs well on Steam charts. The game features a considerable number of monsters, some of which are completely harmless to the player, while others are highly hostile. This guide describes all the monsters, their characteristics, and habitats.

Non-hostile Creatures

Manticoil

This creature resembles a bird with four wings. It flies in flocks above satellites and is completely harmless. When the player appears, Manticoils fly away with loud cries and continue circling. They inhabit the surface of the Moon outside the complex.

Roaming Locusts

Another non-hostile creature, resembling a small insect. They move in groups and, upon the player's approach, try to relocate as quickly as possible. They also inhabit the Moon's surface outside the complex.

Provocable Creatures

Babon-Hawk

This monster is a mix of a monkey and a hawk. They move in groups, and Babon-Hawks are easily noticeable from a distance. Try to avoid them, and they won't bother you. Otherwise, you can provoke them (by making a loud noise or getting too close), and the flock will attack you and your companions. Their attacks are quite strong, and the hero will die in 5-6 hits. You can defeat the monster with a shovel, requiring 5 hits.

Another feature of Babon-Hawks is that they can steal items and consume the corpses of deceased players. They inhabit inside the complex.

Circuit Bee

Provocable mobs attack the character when they get close enough. After moving away, bees stop attacking and lose interest in the player.

You can find them on the Moon's surface outside the complex. The monsters are active at any time of day and mostly fly around their hive, resembling a sphere. You can take it and sell it in the store for credits (from 80 to 160). However, in that case, the bees will attack you more aggressively, and they cannot be killed; you can only escape on your ship.

Loot Bugs

These creatures inhabit inside the complex. They resemble small insects moving in groups. They are very agile and have high speed. Loot Bugs, as the name suggests, take all items lying on the ground and carry them to their hive, which is randomly located each time.

In essence, Loot Bugs are quite harmless creatures. Sometimes they approach the player and try to ask for some item. If you give them junk, they run away immediately. If you give them nothing, the bugs attack. You can kill the bug in 4 hits with a shovel.

Spore Lizard

The creature is large and resembles a lizard. It makes a strong stomping sound when walking. Located inside the complex, it can frighten the player significantly. It does not react to the character if you pass at a distance. When approaching the mob, it starts emitting a pinkish smoke, limiting visibility, and bites the character. Although the lizard does not inflict much damage, a couple of such bites will noticeably reduce HP. It can be killed with a shovel in 5 hits.

Thrumper

A huge shark with legs. It has enhanced vision but cannot hear any sounds. You can use this defect to your advantage and escape easily. Beware of Thrumper in long corridors; the mob can accelerate to high speeds and knock down the player. However, the creature is dangerous only at a straight distance; the winding path is Thrumper's main enemy, as the creature is maximally unmaneuverable.

Landmines

Not a creature, but a mine, as the name suggests. It makes loud sounds, making it easy to detect. Enemies do not trigger the explosive device. The mine reacts only to the player. You can step on it; it will explode only after you get off it. It immediately kills the character. Use teleportation to avoid death. Mines are located inside the complex.

Aggressive Creatures

Bracken

The creature is a shadow with two glowing eyes. It moves quite fast and makes no sound. It won't attack on the first encounter but rather observes the player. If you're playing solo, Bracken is very dangerous. In cooperative play, for example, in a group of four people, the danger from the mob is almost non-existent. This is because the monster will only attack if no one is looking at it.

You cannot sneak up on the mob; it will deal with you in any case. Always turn around and look at it if Bracken is nearby. You can kill it by stunning it with a grenade or a shocker. Also, there is one trick: climb the railings, look at the mob, and hit it with a shovel. Located inside the complex.

Bunker Spiders

The monster is a large arthropod that runs on ceilings and walls. The main fear of an arachnophobe moves quite slowly, and you can simply hide from it. If you see cobwebs at your level, it means a spider is nearby. When caught in the web, try to get out as quickly as possible, or the spider will kill you and wrap you in a cocoon.

You can catch the mob off guard while it's weaving the web and kill it with 8 shovel hits. Located inside the complex.

Coil-Head

The monster looks like a mannequin with a spring-loaded head (hence the name). The mob moves quickly and is a very dangerous enemy. Its movement mechanics are similar to Bracken. Coil-Head does not like bright light and loud sounds; they slow it down and disable it for a short time. Don't try to kill the enemy; it is immortal. The mob is located inside the complex.

Blind Dog

A large dog with a protruding mouth. The mob appears at night on the surface of the Moon. It runs quite fast, and its mouth is always open. It's easy to get into it and die in a couple of seconds. The main weakness of the mob is its vision. It has no eyes, so it has to rely only on the sounds produced by the player. Try not to make noise or distract the mob with a Boombox.

Forest Keeper

A large mob that appears on the surface of the Moon at night. The mobs are not very smart but extremely strong and can quickly kill the player. They move at high speed and make a loud stomping sound. Never approach them; it's better to go in the opposite direction.

When the monster notices you, run for cover to make the Keeper lose sight of you. If the monster manages to grab your companion, use a teleport or a flashbang grenade to free your partner.

Hegrodere

Something inside the complex resembling greenish slime. It attacks the player upon first contact. It moves slowly, and it's easy to escape from it. Do not step on the liquid, or you will die instantly. You cannot kill the mob; you can only distract and disorient it with a Boombox.

Snare Flea

Another aggressive creature inside the complex. It is a horrible insect hiding in the corners of ceilings, sitting on beams, or under downspouts. It loves to hide behind closed doors. It jumps on the player and crushes the spacesuit until the character dies.

If the flea misses during the jump, it starts running after the player and tries to jump on the head again. If the flea succeeds, do the following:

  • Ask your companion for help. With a shovel, they can knock the mob off you and then finish it off with a second hit.
  • Run out into the street. Sunlight will instantly kill the monster, and you'll be saved.

Turrets

Located in the complex, these are automatic turrets that attack on first contact. Beware of them in straight corridors. The turret rotates 180 degrees. Hitting it with a shovel will make it go berserk, spinning in all directions and shooting. The turret is disabled with a code that needs to be entered into the terminal on the ship.

Jester

Located inside the complex, the mob is a box on legs that follows the player. When it starts playing a melody, immediately run away from the monster; otherwise, it will enter a more aggressive stage and start chasing all players until it kills them.

Ghost Girl

Located in the complex, the monster is a girl in a red dress. It spawns in the library and pursues a selected player throughout the complex. The ghost tries to scare you as much as possible. You cannot kill it, and you should not touch it, or you will die.

Warm

An aggressive mob on the surface of the Moon. A giant monster that spawns after three in the afternoon. It makes a sound, after which it emerges from the ground, destroying everything in its path. You can tell the worm is approaching by the trembling of the ground.
