With it, you can stay in touch with team members and timely warn each other of possible dangers. It's simply impossible to imagine a full-fledged game without this item.

How to Get a Walkie-talkie

Like most main equipment items, you can purchase the walkie-talkie at the terminal. We recommend buying the item at the very beginning of the game. The cost is 12 credits. You'll definitely have enough money for the purchase, even if you've just started playing.

How to buy a walkie-talkie:

1. Board the spaceship and interact with the terminal;
2. To enter the store, type the command "store";
3. In the search, enter the name of the item: "Walkie-talkie";
4. Confirm the purchase with the command: "confirm".

The item will be delivered after some time. Retrieve the walkie-talkie and place it in your inventory. The item will take up 1 free slot.

Always try to take the walkie-talkie with you. For example, it is necessary for communication with a team member who stays on the spaceship, guiding players through the location, helping with opening locked doors, rescuing from monsters, and more.

How to Use the Walkie-talkie

Once the walkie-talkie is in your inventory, turn it on by pressing Q. To start talking, hold down Left Mouse Button (LMB) and release it when you're done. You can turn off the walkie-talkie with Q to save charge.

The walkie-talkie's charge is depleted with each use. Periodically recharge the batteries to always stay connected. The charge level is displayed as a yellow bar in the top-left corner of the screen. The approximate battery life without recharging: 13 minutes. For reference: one workday for Employees lasts just over 11 minutes. So, one charge should be more than enough for a full workday.

Remember that the microphone plays an important role in Lethal Company. Monsters react to the sounds and noises you make, including speech through the walkie-talkie. Try to behave quietly and avoid using the item in dark and narrow corridors, where the likelihood of encountering a dangerous mob is significantly higher.
