The spaceship (Ship) in Helldivers 2 is the primary means of traveling through space. You can upgrade it, improve it, and design it to your preferences, installing additional modules that provide useful effects and buffs, as well as changing its name. How to Rename the Ship in Helldivers 2

Access to ship editing will be available after completing the first tutorial mission. To edit the spacecraft, go up to the bridge to the ship management station and interact with it by pressing the E button. Then, a detailed menu with editing functions and options will open. You can familiarize yourself with information and statistics about the ship in more detail. 

At the top, select the section "Destroyer," on the right panel - "Change Ship Name," or press R. After that, a list of names will appear, which you can select with the left mouse button (Apply name). The full name consists of two parts, each of which is selected separately: a prefix and a suffix. Don't forget to confirm the changes you've made. 

Unfortunately, in Helldivers 2, there is no option to set a custom name for the ship. Perhaps this feature will be added with the release of updates. But for now, only the choice from the proposed options is available. Renaming is free, so you can revisit the option at any time without spending precious credits. 

After saving, the new ship name will be displayed on its hull. You can only notice the inscription from certain angles in flight. A small detail, but nice.
