The game Nier Replicant is filled with side quests that players can complete as they progress. The "Lost Eggs" quest is a side quest of Part 1 that you can get from the shopkeeper in the village.

Be careful, the quest "Lost Eggs" is only available in Part 1 of the game! Once you move on to Part 2, access to this mission will be closed.

So, the shopkeeper will ask you to find a chicken egg. You can talk to the locals and get hints. If you don't have time - just go to the marked place on the picture below.

The egg is located next to the column near the fountain to the west of the library. There will be no indicator, so you need to approach the object as close as possible. Interact with the area to take the egg, and then return it to the shopkeeper. As a reward, you will receive Healing Balm. Good luck!
