"Simulation: Sweeping the Wilds" is a quest in Genshin Impact that will unlock access to the mini-game series "Skill Simulation" within the event "Mega Meka Melee".

To start the quest, return to Arbon and Alberre, with whom you previously discussed the alchemical toy. 

How to Complete the "Simulation: Sweeping the Wilds" Quest

Talk to Alberre, the Workshop Employee

To complete the quest, simply finish the dialogue with Alberre. Speak to him specifically, as the dialogue with Arbon will open up a different mini-game series - "Torrential Turbulent Charge". The quest will be counted immediately after the dialogue.
