The Iron Viscount - a new boss added to the game in version 4.0. It looks like a larger version of the regular armor crab that dwells in the depths of Fontaine. Defeating the boss will reward you with Hero's Ascension materials, necessary for leveling up.

How to Find the Iron Viscount

The lair of the Iron Viscount is hidden in a cave deep underwater in the location of Boiling Lake. To gain access to the cave, you'll need to solve a puzzle and enter the resulting stream.

After exiting the stream, swim forward, solve another puzzle, and activate the hydro-totem. The water level in the cave will rise. Proceed through the tunnel to find the Iron Viscount.

How to Defeat the Iron Viscount

Remember that underwater, you cannot use standard attacks, elemental skills, or elemental explosions. Your means of combat are the abilities of underwater creatures: thornsharks, armor crabs, or puffins.

In this case, resonate with the armor crab to unleash powerful attacks against the boss. The damage will be higher if you hold down the button.

How to quickly defeat the Iron Viscount:

1. Absorb the power of the armor crab. Several of them are swimming near the cave.
2. Deflect the Viscount's special attack. He will shoot a large crab at you. At that moment, activate the armor crab's ability and hit the flying creature. The crab will fly back to the boss and deal a strong blow, taking about 20% of the boss's total HP.
3. Once the Iron Viscount's health drops to 50%, he will create a shield around himself. Act similarly and break through the defense, deflecting the boss's attacks.

Regular underwater attacks won't yield results. Use the tactics mentioned above and interrupt the boss's special attacks to emerge victorious. Overall, the strategy isn't complex and doesn't require special skills or highly leveled-up characters. Winning will reward you with the achievement "Iron Viscount."
