Enkanomia is a new additional location with a very dark atmosphere, located deep underground beneath the Watatsumi Island. This place will become available with the release of the 2.4 update of Genshin Impact, but to enter it, you will have to complete a quest, solve a puzzle, and perform a series of specific actions.

Entering Enkanomia: How to Access the Additional Location in Genshin Impact 2.4?

To open the gates of Enkanomia and drain the water, you need to:

1. Complete the quest "Heart of Watatsumi" from the "Moonlight Merriment" questline, at the end of which you will receive a key in the form of a droplet. This quest has been available for a long time, since the addition of the Watatsumi Island;
2. Finish the Archon quest "Chapter II: Act III - Omnipresence Over Mortals."

Completing the "Standing Water" Quest and Opening Enkanomia

After speaking with Sayu, you will head to the altar, which will be marked on the map and illuminated with bright light. There, you will find a special key-shaped mark that was once used throughout Enkanomia.

Where and How to Find All Watatsumi Key-Shaped Marks in Genshin Impact?

The locations of the two keys are marked on the Watatsumi Island map. You just need to go there and collect the marks! The exact location of the second seal-shaped key is marked on the image below - it is not on the water's surface but inside the mountain (the cave where the final part of the "Heart of Watatsumi" quest took place, where we received the key to Enkanomia).

Follow Sayu's instructions and activate all altars

Activating the altars is the easiest task. Look for 3 stone-shaped altars, which are also marked on the map. After completing the actions, return to Sayu and watch a short cutscene of Enkanomia opening. Good luck!
