If you follow our updates, then it won't be news to you that in patch 2.4 Genshin Impact awaits us with the rerun event "Festival of Sea Lanterns"! 

It will bring us not only decorated streets of Liyue, meeting with Xiao and Ganyu, but also a new temporal boss, with whom we have to fight.

At the moment nothing is known about the lore of this monster, however many players have already started to make assumptions. 

Many believe that this is Oz. However, there is no exact confirmation of this. This monster has three heads, which contradicts the appearance of Oz. Also, Archon of the Whirlwind used the form of water, not its physical shell. In the game files, the monster is signed as "Ocean Guardian".

As expected, a whole storyline will be devoted to the monster, which should include the revival of the Nephrite Palace! The event menu will look like this:

During the "Fleeting Colors in Flight" event, you can take part in the "Ocean Guardian" trial and defeat the powerful boss. The boss has three heads. Defeat them all to overcome the enemy. Most likely, this is not Oz, but some new "Ocean Guardian".
