Full Disassembly of Implants in Cyberpunk 2077
As we already know, not all skills in Cyberpunk 2077 are based on privileges. Perception of the surrounding world and how you control your character, weapons, and reconnaissance depend on the enhancements you use for your equipment. So far, we don't know everything about the types of implants, but gameplay demos give us some interesting examples and partially demonstrate their functionality.
Attention: This guide is based on the current information available prior to the official game release. The guide will be updated as additional information becomes available.
* - Information taken from old builds of Cyberpunk 2077 that we couldn't confirm (or was cut from the game) will be marked with an asterisk (*)
Main categories of cyberware:
- Cerebral cortex;
- Ocular system;
- Cardiovascular system;
- Immune system;
- Nervous system;
- Integumentary system;
- Operating system;
- Skeleton;
- Arms and legs.
The enhancement system in Cyberpunk 2077 will help create a true monster out of your character: you will be able to enhance your cerebral cortex and play with the main functional systems of your body: ocular, cardiovascular, immune, nervous, and integumentary. Additionally, you can install an operating system and modify your skeleton, arms, or legs. It is important to note that each type of implant has its own significance: common, uncommon, rare, and legendary. So, there's really something to play with here!
In this guide, we will classify the cyberware by categories as well as their level of significance.
Although you won't be able to suffer from Cyberpsychosis due to adding too many implants in the game, you will still see examples of this mental condition in the game world (for example, members of the Maelstrom gang).
And now, let's move on to the categories!
Cerebral Cortex
We will add additional information as it becomes available.
Ocular System
Rarity unknown.
* Kiroshi Optical Scanners
Installing one of these implants will enhance your HUD and level of detail (objects and people you scan). It will also provide the ability to zoom in and obtain additional information such as gang affiliation, types of damage, resistances, predicted threat level, and opponent's weak points.
Optical enhancements will also help the character visualize tasks and events for side quests that you would have to solve on your own. Likewise, optical scanners can warn you when you've entered a dangerous area.
Kiroshi Optical Scanner MK.I
Basic scanner: scans objects for gathering basic information and completing quests. Price: 300 eddies.
Kiroshi Optical Scanner MK.II
Upgraded basic scanner: detects structural weak points (vehicles). Price: 800 eddies.
Cardiovascular System
We will add additional information as it becomes available.
Immune System
We will add additional information as it becomes available.
Nervous System
Rarity unknown.
* Zetatech
Zetatech Neural Processor MK.I
Price: 500 eddies.
Unfortunately, at this time, we only know that these types of processors can improve the speed of neural signals, thereby increasing the character's reaction and reflexes.
Integumentary System
We will add additional information as it becomes available.
Operating System
Legendary.
Raven Microcyber MK.
4 Cyberdeck.
- Allows for quick attacks during scanning.
- Slows down the hacking time of hostile systems.
- Increases the cyberdeck's RAM recovery rate by 6 units/60 seconds.
Base RAM: 10
Buffer Size: 8
Number of slots: 6
Skeleton
Titanium Bones.
Weight: 0
Description: a set of metal bones capable of withstanding heavy loads.
Arms
Rarity unknown.
* Handrails
* Subdermal Grip
Allows you to use locked weapons with a 50% damage reduction. Increases melee damage. Price: 1200 eddies.
Arms (weapons)
Rarity unknown.
* Gorilla Arms
An implant mentioned by the developers and showcased in action during the Deep Dive, Night City Wire 2, and official gameplay trailers. Gorilla Arms can destroy obstacles, forcing doors open and delivering heavy blows to enemies.
* Arasaka Mantis Blades
The extended blade form resembles the front legs of a praying mantis, giving them a rather intimidating appearance.
Legs
Rarity unknown.
* Cyberlegs
This is one of the cyberimplants that developers have mentioned in their interviews. We don't have confirmation that Cyberlegs will give us access to special secret areas, but they will allow us to move much faster. One of the enhancements for Cyberlegs is sound suppression while walking, which will help you be more stealthy.
