• Complete the "Firestarter" quest - side with Solomon Reed;
• Complete the "Somewhat Damaged" quest - whether Songbird lives or dies will not affect it.

Meet with Rosalind Myers

The scene starts with V and Solomon driving to meet President Rosalind Myers. Depending on the choice you made in the previous quest, either a living or deceased Songbird will be in the back seat.

You arrive at a wasteland, and Rosalind arrives in her helicopter. Her reaction to your presence will vary:

• If you saved Songbird: The President will thank you for your assistance, award you an honorary medal, and promise to perform the operation to remove the biochip with Johnny Silverhand's persona. However, remember that Somi also received a medal when she became undesirable to the government and was retired;
• If you killed Songbird: Rosalind will be displeased with your decision – she needed Songbird alive as a traitor to the NUSA. Myers will refuse to help and won't provide the operation. You will receive 5,000 credits as a reward.

In any case, you hand over Songbird's body to Rosalind and her associates. V will either be fired or directed to the operation. The President will leave you. After that, talk to Reed. He will clearly be puzzled by something and will leave you.

Talk to Johnny Silverhand

Return home as per the given information. At the hideout, Johnny Silverhand awaits you, realizing that his time is running out.

After the conversation, you will receive one of the achievements depending on Songbird's fate: King of Cups – Songbird is dead, or King of Pentacles – Songbird is alive.
