Hole in The Sky - the second storyline quest of the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. It begins after the cutscene with the president's plane crash, Rosalind Myers. Your quest is to reach the crash site and find out what happened to the president and whether she survived.

How to Start the Quest "Hole in The Sky"

The quest will start automatically after an interrupted dialogue with Songbird and descending through the garbage chute during the quest "Unknown Land" (Dog Eat Dog).

"Hole in The Sky": Detailed Walkthrough

Descend and Find Transportation

After descending through the garbage chute, pick up a car or motorcycle. You'll need it to reach the quest marker as quickly as possible. Follow the map to the north.

Breach the Fence

The path ahead will be blocked. You can jump over the fence with the same motorcycle/car or take a detour. With the first option, it's straightforward—just accelerate and take off using the ramp. However, be aware that you'll immediately come under fire, and you'll have to fight a large number of guards. Regardless of the chosen option, the final destination is the same – a crane.

Climb the Crane

If you chose the detour, climb the stairs with a barrier and head right. Walk through the partially destroyed concrete corridor, bypass the guards – you can engage them in combat if you wish. The landmark indicating that you are on the right path is a small bridge made of sheet metal.

At the end of the corridor, there will be a dead end with signs of a crash and an open flame. There will be a piece of broken staircase protruding above – climb up by grabbing onto it. After that, turn left and climb up the metal ladder.

Talk to Songbird

Once you reach the top of the crane, Songbird will appear. She'll be observing the situation from above and will suggest a plan of action. To proceed, your partner will suggest walking along the crane's boom.

Descend from the Crane

Ascend the stairs to the right of where Songbird was standing and climb onto the boom. Move forward until you reach a grating. Underneath it, there will be a passage downward. Jump down and fight the guards on the platform.

Next, you'll need to navigate through the debris. It's easy to get lost here, as there are many ruins and holes in the walls that can confuse you. From where you defeated the enemies, jump into the pit on the left.

On your way to the marker, you'll constantly encounter guards – eliminate them to clear your path. In the end, there will be another large pit where the road collapses. Turn right and stick to this side to reach the crash site.

Get Inside the Building

Here, the path will be no different from what you've done before – just keep moving forward, eliminating enemies. In the end, you'll see the wreckage of the plane and an open entrance to it – go inside.

Find Rosalind

Once on board, a scripted scene will trigger – Rosalind Myers will attack you. She'll think you're one of the people trying to take her life and orchestrated the attack, so she'll use force. Myers will demand explanations, and Vi will tell her about everything that happened before this, including the cooperation with the president's right-hand – Songbird. After this, Rosalind will let you go.

Defend Against the Attack

After the conversation with Myers, another group of attackers will come after you. Engage in battle and defend the president's life. Immediately after this, the current quest will end, and a new one will begin – "The President's Entire Crew" (Spider and the Fly), during which you'll need to transport the president to a safe location.
