Developers of Cyberpunk 2077 have equipped the game with a flexible character leveling system. However, there are some limitations on the hero's level, with a maximum of 50 levels. Gamers have long noticed that there are special chips in Night City that allow for much faster development.

In this guide, we will tell you how and where to obtain all skill and ability chips in Cyberpunk 2077. Let's get started!

How to Use Ability Chips in Cyberpunk 2077

Found a chip? Hold on! Don't take it by pressing F. It's better to do it by pressing the R key or on Xbox versions, the X button. As a result, you will gain two ability points.

Location of All Chips on the Night City Map

First chip. Follow to the "Sunset Motel" movement point located in the Badlands.

Go to the banner on the map and shoot down the drone flying near the car.

The chip, which should be on the body, is lying near the car. 

Second chip. You can find this chip at "Coronado Ranch". The exact location is marked on the map. 

Follow the NCPD activity "Crime" and get inside the shed, take the pager from the body and read what's written there. 

This activates a quest that involves a shootout with all the enemies in the garage. Afterward, collect your well-deserved trophy. 

Third ability chip. Go to the "Metro: Republican Passage" fast travel point located in the center of the Corporate Plaza. 

Follow the sign and when you reach the designated point, climb onto the scaffolding. See the body? Take it, the chip is yours! 

Location of the fourth chip. Go to the "Venture Street and Skyline" fast travel point in Glen. 

Follow the NCPD activity "Robbery". Eliminate all enemies and take your chip from the box. 

Fifth and sixth chips. Go to the "Coronado Ranch" district, reach it using the fast travel point. 

Proceed to the fenced area of Arasaka. See the barrier? Leap over it using double jump. If double jump ability is not available, you can access the area through the construction site. In the screenshot, you can see the location of the first and second chips. 

Take the first chip on the table next to the guard. The second one is in a small warehouse. Enter it and you'll see the chip near the stairs. 

Seventh chip. Move to the "Bar: Red Dirt" fast travel point in Arroyo. 

As usual, follow the activity marker for "Robbery". Kill all enemies and take your well-deserved trophy. 

Eighth and ninth chips. Go to "Metro: Japantown (South)" in the corresponding location. 

Proceed to the "Robbery" activity. Kill all enemies and take the chip from the driver and the body in the trunk. 

Tenth chip. Move to the "All Foods Factory" in Northside. 

Pay attention to the marker in the screenshot, go to that location. You will see a garage, break into it and shoot down all the drones. When you find the chip at the end of the garage, take it.
