Jacob and Taylor – two netrunners that you'll encounter in the story quest of the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC titled "Secrets Sleeper Agent." During a short break and conversation with President Rosalind Myers, these two guys will disrupt your peace and storm into the hideout. The protagonist, Vi, can handle them in various ways, which we will discuss in this guide.

How to Deal with Jacob and Taylor

The main demand and goal of Jacob and Taylor is the head of Rosalind Myers. Below, we will break down the primary options with possible consequences.

Kill

As soon as the guys burst into the hideout, you can shoot them without further discussion. If you approach the guys too closely, a scuffle will ensue. So, if you want to keep the characters alive, stay away and do not raise your weapon.

After killing them, Vi will dispose of the netrunners' bodies in the garbage chute. They will not be mentioned in the story any further.

Explain

To keep the guys alive, choose the second dialogue option and offer to negotiate.

The netrunners will be reasonable, abandon their idea, and stay in the hideout. You can talk to Jacob and learn about his fate, but Taylor will just stand aside and remain silent.

Note: Your choice will not impact the game's storyline. Jacob and Taylor will eventually die, but you can get interesting information from conversing with them.
