The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman – a side mission from the Gig section, assigned by Mr. Hands. V has to investigate the murder of Jason Foreman during an attack in Dogtown and deal with the perpetrator responsible for it.

How to Get the Quest "The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman"

This quest becomes available after completing the main quest "Get It Together." In this quest, Mr. Hands will ask V to complete 3 tasks, after which he will provide the promised assistance.

How to Find and Neutralize the Killer

Hands will contact V by phone and inform about the incident. The main character needs to find the culprit – Leon Reinder, a former Barghest soldier. Briana Dolson will provide more information. Go meet her.

Talk to Briana Dolson

You can meet the girl at a specific time frame: from 22:00 to 06:00. Follow the marker to the meeting location. Briana will provide more details about what happened, Leon's identity, and his possible location.

The girl will also provide you with a chip containing an Archived Conversation between Jason Foreman and Slava Makarov. Hack it and complete the mini-game to obtain all the necessary information.

Investigate the Crime Scene

An additional task will appear in your journal – investigate the location where the murder took place to find clues. Use the scanner with the "Tab" key to find:

• Bootprints;
• Remains of a broken drone;
• Bullet holes in the wall;
• Metal barrier on the roof;
• Depression in front of one of the buildings;
• Drop point under the building.

Locate Leon

The next destination is the abandoned complex "West Wind Estate" (Los Osos in West Wind Estate) near the city's main gates. Enter the building and clear the location of enemies.

Go to the upper floors of the complex. As soon as you approach the room where Leon is located, you will face a mini-boss – Yasha Ivanov. Boss's features that will help you during the encounter:

• Yasha has a lot of health. You'll need high-damage weapons;
• Yasha gradually regenerates health if you interrupt attacks. Try to spam him with hits;
• Yasha periodically uses camouflage and becomes invisible;
• From time to time, the boss will throw poison gas grenades. Attack him from a distance because dodging will be difficult;
• You can temporarily disable and weaken the boss.

In general, the boss is not difficult. Just adapt to his main mechanics and deal damage to him.

Kill or Spare Leon

Finally, go inside the room and talk to Leon. You'll find him in a rather sorry state – he's bandaged, defenseless, and clearly battered. However, Leon does not show any remorse for what he's done, and you can determine his fate:

• Kill Leon. You can do this as soon as you enter the room, even without prior conversation;
• Leave Leon alive. He will be grateful to you for choosing to spare his life. As an additional reward, he will give V the key to his garage, where you'll find a valuable reward: the legendary double-barrel shotgun "Dezerter Iconic Power Double-Barrel Shotgun."

Regardless of your choice, you will receive Leon's token, which you must pass as evidence to Briana. Return to the girl at the previous location and receive your well-deserved reward. Keep in mind that if you spared Leon, Briana will have to lie.
