Genshin Impact: How to Open the Archon Statue in Dragon Spine

6 jan 2021 at 17:55

Dragonspine is a relatively new and unexplored location. It can be challenging for players who are not familiar with Genshin Impact. To ensure smooth exploration, I recommend unlocking the Statue of The Seven first.

It unlocks the entire map and teleportation points. In our guide, we will show and explain how to reach the Statue of The Seven in the harsh cold of Genshin Impact.

How to Unlock the Statue of The Seven in Genshin Impact

First, use the map and look for the area near Mondstadt. You will come across Dragonspine. Before heading there, it's best to familiarize yourself with the new cold mechanic. When you enter this location, the cold effect will immediately affect you, and the gauge will gradually fill up.

How to Survive in the Harsh Cold of Dragonspine

Plan how you will keep warm when your character starts to freeze. If the gauge fills up completely, your character will start losing HP at a rate of 2% per second. Quite fast, isn't it?

When you approach Dragonspine, look up frequently. You will see a red beam shining into the sky. Congratulations, that's the Statue of The Seven!

Go straight through the mountains, protecting yourself from the local cold, and eventually you will reach the statue. There is ice on top of the statue that cannot be shattered with any known weapons. To successfully unlock the statue, you need to deal damage to the ice when you are in the aura of Scarlet Quartz.

To make it easier, let me share one secret with you: you can shoot the ice with a bow, and the strange ice will break.

After unlocking the statue, the entire location will become accessible. You will be able to see all the teleportation points and other interesting things in this region. Good luck with your journey!
