The "Meteoric Lance" is a quest in Genshin Impact that continues the questline "Search in the Algae Sea". During this mission, you will need to find the second seal and continue the restoration of the Miraculous Sword of Narzissenkreuz.

How to Get the Meteoric Lance Quest

The quest will start automatically after completing the "Mother of the Muses" quest, where you found the first seal. Immediately after this, the mission will appear in your quest journal. Like the previous quest, it is related to solving a large and complex puzzle, which you will learn more about below.

Find the Seal

Destination: Fort Charybdis Ruins. Head there to find the next mechanism. At the entrance, talk to the Order members to discuss the next course of action. Don't forget to pick up a common chest if you haven't already.

Study the Inscription on the Plaque

As in the previous case, before solving the puzzle, you will come across a plaque with an inscription. You need to decipher the riddle based on the following clues:

• "Diverges from you";
• "Arises instantly, never leaves you even in your dreams, always inseparable from you";
• "The "Stained Sinful Fruit".

The correct answer is life. In fact, Carter Scherbius will provide the answer, so you don't need to guess it yourself, and it won't affect the further progression.

Find the Way Forward

Now that the group has solved the riddle, follow the next path:

1. Raise the gate blocking your path. To do this, absorb the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus ability and direct the power to the nearest mechanisms;
2. Direct the beam to the column nearby;
3. Ultimately, the blue light should fall on the lens;
4. Activate the second beam and similarly direct it to the column.

After this, the door will unlock, and you can proceed. Note that during the puzzle-solving, you will be attacked by Mechs (Mek).

Next, use the elevator and descend. Deal with the enemies, then strike the blue crystal located nearby. It should turn orange, and the passage will open. However, another gate will lower. Interact with the crystal again from a distance. For this task, use an archer to shoot the crystal and make it blue again.

Solve the Ortant's Riddle

You've opened the way to the central device and can solve the puzzle to obtain the second seal. To do this, you need to direct two streams in the correct directions.

• First Stream. Unlock the beam by lowering the columns on the sides of the walls. The columns will move alternately, so you need to adapt and press them at the right time. Go down the elevator and approach the new puzzle. Turn the valve to direct the flow in the right direction. If you do everything correctly, the stream will light up with blue light. Repeat the same actions with each mechanism. Release the stream on the last device, which will reach the central mechanism;

• Second Stream. The second stream is underwater. To get there, jump down from the central room and dive. Just in case, neutralize the Mechs to prevent them from interfering with you while solving the puzzle. Absorb the ability of the passing Xenochromatic Hunter's Ray and cut the seaweed blocking the passage underwater. You need to hit all three points with a single strike. Swim to the valves and activate them one by one: first the right one, then the left one. There won't be any more difficulties – then head to the central device.

After everything is done, return to the main room to the central mechanism to collect the seal.

Obtain a Part of Desire

Approach the green crystal and interact with it to collect the second seal. The quest will be completed, and the next one, "Cupid's Lover," will start automatically. Don't forget to loot the luxurious chest!
