Everyone who travels through Liyue sooner or later will have to find the Pyro Hypostasis - it's just a matter of time. You will need it to enhance your Pyro character. You have already encountered the Hypostasis a little earlier in missions, but it belonged to the Cryo element.

In this guide, we will tell you where to find and how to easily defeat the Pyro Hypostasis. Let's get started!

Artifact Locations

Version 1.2 introduced the change that made the Hypostasis static on the game maps. You can find it near Lake Luhua. In the screenshot below, we indicated the location of the Pyro Hypostasis and the nearest teleporter.

After teleporting, head north towards the ravine. See the depression? That's the entrance we need.

Strategy to Defeat the Pyro Hypostasis

Once you encounter it, you'll need a clear plan of action to defeat it. We recommend bringing the following characters to your team:

1. Kaeya - a swordsman with Cryo element. If not, we recommend bringing a hero who attacks with ice.

2. One of the characters who attack with water. Yes, you heard it right - any hero who deals damage with liquid will easily deal with the flower.

3. Take Lisa or Fischl with you; they will definitely be useful. The combination of electricity and water will deal massive damage to the Hypostasis.

Attack the base of the stem; that's where it's most vulnerable.

Occasionally, the Hypostasis will release its seeds; it's better to destroy them immediately, or else the seeds will mature and deal you significant damage.

Follow the tactics we provide, and soon the flower will yield, removing its shield. At this moment, try to deal as much damage as possible.

The Hypostasis will start spinning rapidly around its axis; it's a good time to move away to avoid taking damage.

Keep in mind that the Hypostasis will constantly attack you, so don't stop moving - it's the key to your survival. Evade bombs, projectiles, and other attacks.

Very rarely, the Hypostasis will launch a huge ball. To avoid it, move away from the line of fire closer to the stem. The flower has a devastating attack - it starts spinning in a fiery vortex. The only salvation is to run as far away as possible.

Artifacts

After defeating the Hypostasis, it will drop four-star artifacts. The most valuable of them is the Shaman's Fire Hat. The Fire Seed (also obtained from the flower) will be very useful for leveling up characters like Bennett, Diluc, Keqing, and Xiangling.
