Genshin Impact 2.1 will be released soon, and players will be able to try out new banners and even obtain a free 5-star character.

The release date for the Genshin Impact 2.1 update is scheduled for September 1, which means that starting from next month, players will have the chance to pray for Raiden Shogun herself. Genshin Impact leaks have revealed many details about this new update, and in this guide, we will share everything that is currently known about Genshin Impact 2.1.

Which banners will be in Genshin Impact 2.1

The following banners will be available in Genshin Impact:

September 1, 2021 - Baal banner, along with Kujou Sara
September 21, 2021 - Sangonomiya Kokomi.

Reminder:

- Baal (Raiden Shogun) - the Electro Archon of Inazuma, an Electro polearm user who wields her sword only during the Elemental Burst.

- Kujou Sara - Baal's right-hand, assistant, and a member of the Shogun's army. She is an Electro archer.

- Sangonomiya Kokomi - the Divine Priestess and the leader of the resistance against Baal, she is Gorou's companion. She is a Hydro catalyst user.

Free 5-star character in Genshin Impact 2.1

Genshin Impact 2.1 will also allow players to obtain the 5-star character Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn for free. You will have limited time to unlock Aloy.

Aloy is a 5-star character, a user of the bow and the Cryo element. She will be an exclusive character for PS4/5 players in version 2.1.

In the 2.1 update, Aloy will only be available to players on PlayStation, while others can obtain her in version 2.2.

Once Genshin Impact 2.1 is released, PlayStation users will be able to claim Aloy through their in-game mail. We would like to remind you once again that she is a free 5-star character from a collaboration.
