How to Install and Connect the Multiplayer Mod in The Sims 4

Requirements

To ensure the proper functioning of the mod, the following requirements must be met:

• Operating System: Windows/MAC OS
• Game Version: v1.68.154.1020 or later
• Common "Mods" Folder: All players must have the same CC files in their "Mods" folder
• Identical Saves: All players must have the same saved game files
• Empty "Save" Folders: Only the host (creator of the local network) should have saved games, others must have empty "Save" folders

Important! To avoid data loss, move old saves from the "Save" folder to another location unrelated to the game. We recommend playing with new saves or creating a separate save specifically for the mod.

3. After connecting to the local network, open the S4MP launcher;
4. In the window that appears, select "Play Over LAN" from the left menu;
5. Two windows are available: "Host Game" and "Join." The first one is for the host, and the second one is for other players;

• If you are the host: click on "Browse" and select the saved game you want to play. After selection, click "Host."
• If you are a player: enter the server IP address and click "Join Game."

Once everyone has connected, the host clicks "Sync Saves." After synchronization, click "Start Game." The Sims will launch automatically.
