Havik is one of the playable characters in the new Mortal Kombat 1, and you can fight as him. He first appeared in Mortal Kombat: Deception. Havik has no principles or moral values. His sole purpose is to sow discord and chaos, regardless of the company he keeps.

In previous installments, Havik resembled more of a typical monster, but in the new game, he has acquired quite human traits and looks like a handsome young man, as much as possible with half of his face missing.

Havik is not available at the start of the game, and you'll need to unlock him, which you will learn about below.

How to Unlock Havik

You can unlock Havik as you progress through the game. To do this, complete the storyline of Mortal Kombat 1 (Story Mode), which consists of 15 chapters. Until Havik is unlocked, his portrait in the character selection menu will be grayed out.

Depending on how intensively you play, this can take anywhere from 20-30 minutes to 1-2 hours. After completing the story mode and credits, you will receive a notification stating that Havik is now available as a playable character.

To claim the reward, follow this path from the main menu: Store > Notifications > Store Reward > Claim Reward
