Emotions 2.0

Tired of the superficial emotional system in The Sims 4? The "Realistic Emotions" mod will give your Sims deeper and more nuanced experiences. What the mod adds: - New moodlet "Emotional Equilibrium". Your Sims won't constantly be in a state of euphoria. Now they will experience the full range of emotions, both positive and negative; - New moodlet "Emotional Transition". Slows down abrupt mood swings, making them smoother and more realistic; - Reduced influence of positive emotions. Happiness won't overshadow other emotions. Example: a Sim may be sad due to a loss but still excited because they drank energizing tea. Strong positive or negative emotions will carry more weight than weak ones, making the transition from one mood to another smoother; - Enhanced impact of negative emotions. Negative events will have a more noticeable effect on Sims' moods. Moodlets from such events, like a broken nail, will disappear more slowly, making them more realistic; - Revised fear system. Fear now hinders skill learning, making Sims more vulnerable; - Satisfaction points system. Sims will gain/lose satisfaction points depending on their emotional state. This allows them to fulfill their desires faster when they're happy and endure discomfort longer when they're depressed or angry; - Changes for teenagers. The transition from positive to negative emotions takes longer for teenagers than for adults.
