"World Ablaze" is a mod aimed at a complete overhaul of the base game to make it more challenging, historically accurate, and immersive. Currently, the mod includes significant expansions to technology trees, major AI improvements, expanded focus trees, and numerous minor changes to enhance gameplay. Each nation has its own unique technology tree, adding a distinctive flair to the game. The mod strictly follows historical chronology and statistics, although some changes have been made to ensure balance. Due to the extensive changes in the game, it can go up to 1948, so some post-war technologies, even those that appeared after 1948, are included to account for the arms race occurring in wartime conditions. The mod also includes: - Significantly enhanced and more dangerous AI, especially on historical routes. - Unique illustrations for all new technologies, including standard ones from the base game. - Expanded technology trees for all nations. - Fully reworked and expanded focus trees for Germany and the Soviet Union. - A new complex weather system. - Unique technology trees for all major nations and some minor countries. - A complete rebalance of game mechanics. - New colorful division icons. - New decisions and events that make the game more historically accurate (e.g., D-Day and the Polish uprising). - Increased research bonuses using army experience. - Some changes in focus trees. - Updated state borders and categories. - More realistic construction: each subsequent building in a state becomes more expensive to build, and repair time increases. - Changes in the economy to more accurately reflect the losses from waging war.

City Maker allows you to build, name, and establish new cities in hoi4! To create a new city, simply select it from the construction panel. The process will be resource-intensive and time-consuming. When construction is complete, you will be prompted to choose a name for your new city. Enter any name (up to 32 characters) and press "ENTER." After this, the game will "think" for a while before the city is generated. This delay occurs because the developers at Paradox (the real tricksters) did not add functionality in the game code to work with specific provinces. Therefore, modifications have to manually check each province to find where you built the city. You can also rename existing cities by building a new "City Foundation" building on them, but this will reset their cost to 10 victory points.
