What is it used for?

The End Portal is a small structure used for teleportation to the End dimension. In Survival mode, it is only available as a natural structure. It cannot be created manually like the Nether Portal, for example. However, in Creative mode, this possibility exists.

In the End dimension, players usually hunt the game's boss - the Ender Dragon. It is needed to obtain Dragon's Breath. Additionally, in this dimension, you can farm resources from Endermen and Shulkers.

Finding the Portal

First, the player needs to find Ender Eyes. It's better to have around 20-30 of them in advance. This will be necessary for effective searching, as some items may get lost. Also, keep in mind that 12 of these items are required for activation.

The Eye of Ender drops from Endermen. Then, holding it in hand, you need to right-click. The Eye of Ender will fly in the direction of the generated portal. Then, simply follow the flying item. At one point, the Eye will not fly up but go underground. It is at this point that you should start digging.

Location and Activation

Portals are only found in Strongholds, natural structures that are usually located near various mineshafts. In the Stronghold itself, the portal is located in front of the Ender Pearl spawner. Sometimes the structure of the Stronghold can be disrupted, as game maps are generated differently.

To activate the portal, you need to place an Eye of Ender (dropped by Endermen) in each available frame. After the process is complete, black flat blocks called "End Portal Frame" will appear. Teleportation occurs through these blocks.

Creating a Portal in Creative Mode

You can create your own portal in Creative mode. For this, you need to be in a free space where you can place 12 End Portal Frame blocks. This is a necessary step because the placement of frames and especially the patterns on them are important for activation. Without this, teleportation to the End will simply be impossible.

• The portal deactivates only with the use of a water bucket. If all the frames are destroyed, nothing will happen to the portal itself.
