Spore Lizard in Lethal Company: how to defeat the monster
Spore Lizard in Lethal Company is a creature resembling a typical reptile but with a huge suction-cup-like toothy mouth. The monster moves on the ground on four small legs. Despite its menacing appearance, it is one of the safest and non-aggressive mobs in the game. It is more commonly found on moons with low difficulty levels.
However, the Spore Lizard can attack. Players may inadvertently provoke the creature, and in this guide, you will learn how to prevent this.
Why Spore Lizard is Dangerous
Essentially, it's not dangerous. The only harm it can cause is an unexpected attack if you corner and try to pursue it. The creature won't try to catch you and avoids any potential collisions. It's not interested in killing Employees and will attempt to leave as soon as it sees a player.
How to Defeat Spore Lizard
How to avoid a confrontation with the Spore Lizard and neutralize it if necessary:
- The Spore Lizard walks around the complex, ostentatiously baring its toothy mouth. In reality, this is a defensive mechanism, not a threat. The monster is trying to ward off hostile creatures it cannot engage in open combat;
- As soon as the lizard sees a player, it will immediately start moving away until it hits a corner;
- If a player gets closer, the lizard will start releasing pink clouds. The gas will reduce visibility but won't cause damage;
- If the player approaches too closely, the lizard will attack and deal damage. The damage is low, so the Employee can simply step back at any moment – the monster won't pursue them.
The lizard only inhabits the inside of the complex and the surface of moons. The damage dealt is 20 HP. To kill it, 3-4 shovel hits are sufficient.
The best strategy for players to adopt is simply to avoid getting close to the lizard and, if possible, steer clear of it. If the creature does decide to attack, use the stun gun for neutralization.
