Plot and Gameplay of Hollow Knight: Silksong
The release of the legendary Hollow Knight: Silksong is approaching, and there isn't much information about the game. Fortunately, the Silksong demonstration showed us some details about the gameplay.
We saw several cities, an altered concept of the new Kingdom, as well as some bosses and characters. But the main thing is that our beloved Hornet is now revealed as a warrior, and players have yet to discover her abilities. Now let's discuss in more detail what is known about Hollow Knight: Silksong at the moment.
Announcement of Silksong
Initially, Team Cherry stated that the sequel to Hollow Knight would be in the form of DLC, where players would be able to explore the Hollow Knight world with a different character.
But soon the plans changed, and the developers admitted that they had no idea how to implement it. That's why we have the announcement of an entirely new standalone game, with a different world and characters.
Backstory and Plot
The events of the game unfold in the kingdom of Pharloom, where life is vibrant and flourishing. Apparently, the infection from Hallownest hasn't reached this high. However, as the game progresses, it becomes noticeable that something is not quite right here...
Hornet must uncover this and ascend to the top of the Gleaming Citadel. Unlike Hallownest, where we delved into the depths of the Abyss - here we will be climbing up.
At the beginning of the storyline, we see that Hornet is imprisoned in a cage carried by mysterious creatures. The cage is sealed, preventing Hornet from escaping. When the group of unknown creatures approaches the gates of Pharloom, a mysterious moth lands on the cage and breaks the spell.
Feeling a surge of power, Hornet unleashes a powerful spell and successfully frees herself, falling into the deep abyss of Pharloom. It is currently unknown which ending of Hollow Knight leads to the events of Silksong.
?Will Silksong be a continuation of the first part of Hollow Knight?
