In the 4.3 update, which is expected in December 2023, two new characters will be released: Navia – Geo, a five-star polearm user, and Chevreuse – Pyro, a four-star spear user.

If players are already familiar with Navia, Chevreuse has not appeared in the storyline or side quests. You may have heard about her from the memories of Fremine and Wriothesley.

Chevreuse is the captain of the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol in the Court of Fontaine. She is a member of Maison Gardiennage and is responsible for maintaining law and order in the capital. Currently, there is not much information available about the organization. The Special Patrol serves as a kind of scarecrow for unruly children.

Players could learn some information from a conversation with NPC Riqueti, located near the Steambird, at Salon Caritat. The man says:

"Even children of criminals with tarnished reputations can join the Special Patrol if they are skilled enough. Ironically, the Special Patrol has the lowest percentage of guards among all gendarmes. As Madam Chevreuse, the current patrol leader, says, 'Gendarmes only get in the way of our bullets!'"

It can be assumed that Chevreuse values human strength and does not discriminate against employees based on their background.
